Provenio Litigation LLP is partnering with the University of Liverpool Law School on a new degree programme for aspiring lawyers.

The new four-year LLB - Law with a Year in Industry - provides students the opportunity to spend a year working at a law firm.
Provenio’s first Law with a Year in Industry student, Erin Bamber, has now started a year-long role with Provenio. Erin will return to university next year to complete the final year of her LLB.
Mark Goodwin, founder and managing partner at Provenio Litigation said:
“We are delighted to partner with the University of Liverpool Law School on this programme.
“As a firm we are absolutely committed to developing the next generation of legal talent. The Law with a Year in Industry initiative, alongside our Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship Programme, marks our ongoing dedication to providing meaningful opportunities for career development.”
Added Mark:
"I would like to thank Hannah Catterall and Emma Charnock for the huge amount of time, guidance and support they have invested in our career development initiatives. They are both fantastic mentors and role models for Erin and for all our people.”
Talking about the programme, Erin Bamber said:
“To work at Provenio, a firm ranked as a national market leader, offers a fantastic opportunity to gain professional work experience while continuing my studies. It is a real privilege to be the firm’s first Law with a Year in Industry student.”
Prof Valsamis Mitsilegas, Dean of the School of Law and Social Justice at the University of Liverpool, recently said: “This initiative is transformative for our students, offering them invaluable practical experience within high-calibre legal environments. By working alongside seasoned professionals, they will not only enhance their legal expertise but also gain vital insights into the real-world challenges and opportunities that define today’s legal landscape.”
